Clear Evidence of Carcinogenicity

“Given the widespread global usage of mobile communications among users of all ages, even a very small increase in the incidence of disease resulting from exposure to [radio-frequency radiation] could have broad implications for public health.”  NTP Report on Cell Phones and Carcinogenicity

The National Toxicology Program (NTP), which cost $25 million dollars and took  10 years to complete, concluded there is clear evidence that male rats exposed to high levels of radio frequency radiation (RFR) like that used in 2G and 3G cell phones developed cancerous heart tumours.
The NTP found what it calls “clear evidence” that these two different types of cell phone signals  increased the incidence of malignant tumors in the hearts of male rats over the course of the two-year study. Higher incidences of brain and adrenal tumours were also seen.
The Study did not include frequencies from 4G, wifi, or 5G radiation.  We are now exposed to an increased mix of 2G, 3G, 4G, 4G+ and Wifi pulsed radiation frequencies globally.  5G technology is being rolled out over the next few years.

What did the studies find?

The NTP studies found that high exposure to RFR used by cell phones was associated with:

  • An increase in tumors of the heart (schwannomas), brain (malignant gliomas) and  adrenal gland (pheochromocytomas)
  • Increases in other organ tumors compared to controls (not statistically significant but noteworthy) for pancreas, prostate, pituitary, liver and lung
  • DNA damage in rodents
  • Cardiomyopathy similar to aging
  • Adverse perinatal effects in some groups
